Maya Indian Restaurant
Located in the heritage listed Higham’s Building, Maya provides a dining experience that encapsulates Fremantle lifestyle of Food, Fun, Fashion and Art. Often referred by locals as “their favourite Indian”, the three dining rooms of Maya are intimate, friendly and a little busy. Our semi-private function room upstairs can hold a sit down dinner for up to 34 guests. The M Bar crowns the establishment on the top level and is popular for a birthday bash and stand up parties.
Start with the Shark Bay sand whiting with pineapple chutney or tandoor roasted chicken tikka with house made yoghurt and mint. For mains try the Mt Barker free range chicken korma or the twice cooked butter chicken, melt in the mouth cheeky beef or spicy fish curry of local Barramundi made with tamarind, chilli and roast cumin.
Most of our dishes are gluten free and we offer a good selection of dairy free options. As we love our vegies, we cater for the vegetarians very well but do seem to go nuts when cooking our curries, so please mention that you are allergic as we would love to assist.
